Roster Creator is free to use. You don’t need an account and nothing is charged.

Provided as is

Roster Creator, and every file it produces (Excel, PDF and CSV), is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes, but isn’t limited to, any warranty that it is accurate, complete, reliable, up to date, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

No responsibility for errors

Roster Creator takes no responsibility, and accepts no liability, for any error, omission or mistake in the tool or in anything it produces. That includes, for example, incorrect shift times, incorrect hours or meal-break deductions, wrongly imported or exported data, files that fail to upload or that upload incorrectly to a Duty Management System, lost or overwritten data, and any loss, cost, damage or inconvenience that follows – whether direct or indirect.

You are responsible for checking. Check every roster, every total and every exported file yourself before you rely on it, print it, share it or upload it to any system.

Duty Management Systems

Roster Creator is designed to work with most Duty Management Systems, but systems and their versions differ, so it can’t be guaranteed to work with every one, or with every setting. Roster Creator is not connected with, approved by or endorsed by any Duty Management System supplier, police force, employer or other organisation. Any names of systems or organisations belong to their owners.

Not pay, legal or working-time advice

The hours and totals shown are a calculation aid only. They are not pay, allowance, working-time, legal or professional advice. Always check them against your own organisation’s rules and records.

Your data

Roster Creator runs in your web browser. The rosters you build and the files you import are not uploaded or sent anywhere by the tool. Your roster is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device so it’s there next time; clearing your browser’s site data will remove it. Like any website, the company or service that hosts this page may keep ordinary records of page visits, but the contents of your rosters are never sent to it.
